When he couldn’t find one to meet his professional needs Edmond realized there was a gap in the market – and a real need to provide clients with a “live” financial plan.
Recruiting some of the best talent in the industry, Edmond founded eMoney Advisor. Its mission was to give advisors a wealth management and client enhancing software solution for their high net worth clients. Unlike other products available in the industry, eMoney Advisor’s solution would be wholly web based, allowing unparalleled collaboration between advisor and client and the ability to provide up-to-date financial information 24/7. As a business to business solution, eMoney Advisor’s software allowed advisors customization with their own DBA. Advisors now had the benefit of presenting financial advice and plans online, customized to the needs of their high net worth clients, but branded with their DBA. Over the next 5 years eMoney demonstrated the benefit of its business model with pilot programs that allowed large enterprises to see for themselves a winning value proposition.
Today, eMoney has progressed to serving 9 of the fifteen largest insurance companies in America, the majority of the most successful independent broker dealers and many of the nation’s leading advisory firms. eMoney’s offering has been continually enhanced and now tailored to the needs of the mass affluent market as well.
